3ヶ月: 光陰矢のごとし time flies

hard to belieb ive been here 3 months alrdy.. persevering thru the ratchet rain and cold, too tired to even shed a tearz.

for those who don’t alrdy know, im a nostalgic pc of shit who still prints photos and mails letters but due to my hoarding tendencies i’ve been limiting myself to one photo print a month. back home, i used to send hundreds of pictures to print every few months but now i opt for quality over quantity. (jks its cuz this shit expensive.. 😥 50cents per print n im hours away from a costco)

anyways, every month, i pick a favourite/happiest photo to print. here’s november

the moment i realized it wasnt ‘foggy’ outside.. id been going THRU thicc clouds for an hour and the train finally emerged into a beautiful sunny saturday morning

aaaand some stats for the months:

moar places i’ve visited: kobe, kyoto, kinosaki, okayama, tokushima, awaji, osaka

some good things:

  • didnt die from walking over 60km in 4 days
  • finally figured out rice AND brown rice after 10mins in the rice aisle n a call to a japanese fren
  • bought my first bag of mandarins.. HELLO I EAT FRUITS DW MOM N DAD I AM HEALTHY ish
  • figured out i can make it to work even if i accidentally sleep thru 6 alarms and wake up 22 minutes before work starts

best thing that’s happened: finally frens w the music teachers n she’s given me keys to a yamaha baby grand and an upright piano that i can play every wednesday.. she’s the cutest lil lady w blankets all over the music room, random stuffies, rainbow flower origami, fluffy slippers, cat figurines everywhere.. basically a fever dream but its adorable.

worst thing that’s happened: someone AT SCHOOL took the umbrella i left on my bike on a rainy day.. the ONE TIME i thought about bringing the umbrella inside.. and then when i stopped at daiso to look for another umbrella, i got splashed by a massive puddle.. shoes n socks were thoroughly soaked.. it wasn’t fun to say the least

current fave phrase: shinu daro = i think i’ll die

times i say ‘what the fuck’ under my breath: more than 6.5 for sure

i am v grateful for the friends n fam who been part of this journey. thx everyone who’s checked in with me. i miss yall!
