the bread cannot get itself

i rlly cant believe its almost been a year in japan. ive been working thru sum personal things and it’s been hard to post lately so today i just want to share some new bread/cake ive made recently.

the bread is one of the few things that keep me going everyday. figuratively, as i reap them rolls and deposit the dough, every dollar i save here furthers my goals, and every goal i reach is another step closer to the person i aspire to be. and literally, because learning to make bread and decorating cakes has been the funnest shit EVER.

i used to spend friday nights oot and aboot the town, tiddies out, partaking in borderline illegal wild activities till 7am in the morning and now i taste-test sake while baking and watch movies until the clock strikes 12 and this gramma retreats to her beloved futon. talk about evolution right? we’ve gone from googling ‘ez 1 banana banana bread’ to making decorated cake rolls, multicolour cookies, multiflavour loafs, frosted, glazed, n iced cakes and im pleased to announce that we’re entering the next chapter- i think it’s called cupcakes.

im finally living out my cake boss dreamz.. so stay tuned for what’s next! i ain’t goin anywhere (cuz i can’t come home this year) and the bread ain’t either.
