a saturday in japan
- plan to hike mount daisen
- cancel hike bc of supposed thunderstorm
- speedy gonzales’d our way to tottori instead for michelin star ramen located inside a tire shop which closes at 2pm
- arrive at 1:58pm and enjoy
- proceed to visit conan town in hokuei (birthplace of detective conan)
- return to tottori to shop at don quijote (ppl have been pronouncing this as DONKEY ever since ive arrived.. confusion until i finally saw the store sign- fken massive store selling groceries, louis vuitton bags (??), electronics, facemasks, adidas and more
- return to toyooka to acquire towels for sento visit (sento is an onsen with tap water instead of spring)
- drive to asago and enjoy bathhouse (well i enjoyed.. my fren got out early n was panicking bc we forgot to check if they allowed tattoos n he thought i got kicked out lol anyways TATTOOS OK.)
- get conveyor belt sushi n a mcds peach float
- return home to toyooka. otw back i fell asleep n opened my eyes to a fresh accident at the intersection right by my house w an overturned car n blood coming out of the passenger window
anddddd i havent biked on that side of the road since.
when ppl ask ”how’s japan?,” the only thing i can reply is, ”a rollercoaster.”
